Hunter Privette - Assistant Pitching Coach

Coach Privette is from Hartsville, SC where he was a 2009 graduate of Hartsville High School. At Hartsville, he was a three year lettermen in Baseball and Cross Country. In the fall of 2009, he became a member of the Florence-Darlington Technical College Baseball Team. At FDTC, he was a starting pitcher for the Stingers and had several D1 offers. He earned his Associate in Arts degree in 2011.

In the fall of 2010, Privette committed to the University of South Carolina. He was part of the #1 ranked recruiting class in the nation by Baseball America. Privette spent the 2012-2014 seasons at USC and his team finished National Runner-up at the NCAA College World Series in 2012. Privette was voted 2014 baseball Team Captain for the Gamecocks. He earned his B.A. in Economics in 2014. During his collegiate years, he also played three summers in the Coastal Plains League. Following the 2014 season he would forgo professional baseball playing opportunities for corporate business and a jump start to his coaching career.

Privette has served as the pitching coach for Hartsville American Legion Baseball team the previous three years. They made a State Tournament appearance in 2015. This is his first season as the Assistant Pitching Coach for the Stingers.
