The Lady Stingers have made College history with the signing of twin sisters from Strom Thurmond High School in Edgefield, South Carolina. Lady Stinger Head Coach Heber Watson signed Breanna and Brooke Benenhaley to play softball at Florence-Darlington Technical College.

They were joined at the ceremony with parents, Tammy and Tim Benenhaley, sister, Blair and both sets of grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Eleazer Benenhaley and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Black.

The sisters are planning on careers in medicine. Brooke is interested in a career in sports medicine and Breanna will enroll at FDTC to be a registered nurse.

The twins have both played varsity softball since the seventh grade. Breanna was a first base starter since the 7th grade and has been a leading hitter for the Thurmond Rebels. She was chosen as All - Region when she was an 8th grader.

Lady Stinger Head Coach Watson said, "These young ladies are not only outstanding softball players, but also excellent students and role models at Strom Thurmond High School and will make us proud as Lady Stingers at FDTC."
