GASTONIA, N.C. — A late rally fell short as Florence-Darlington Technical College dropped a 4-3 decision to Gaston College at Sims Legion Park.
The Stingers totaled eight hits but struggled to capitalize. Gabe Herold led the offense with two hits, an RBI, and two stolen bases. Tristan Strickland and Pat Costin each drove in a run as FDTC attempted to chip away at Gaston's early lead.
