FLORENCE, S.C. — Diego Garcia and Jace Rainey each drove in three runs to lead Florence-Darlington Technical College Stingers baseball to a 14–2 victory over USC Salkehatchie at Dailey Field.
Florence-Darlington collected 11 hits in the contest and broke the game open in the third inning with an eight-run surge. Rainey led the offensive charge, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs, two runs scored, and two stolen bases. Garcia added three RBIs on a 1-for-3 performance while scoring twice. Jackson Cook also made a significant impact, scoring three runs while driving in two and recording a triple as the Stingers continued to apply pressure on the bases.
On the mound, Elijah Sanders earned the win for Florence-Darlington, pitching three scoreless innings while allowing no runs and striking out one. Cooper Coleman and Nick Cappello provided relief, combining to allow just two runs over the final two innings.
