Stingers Power Past USC Union in 18-2 Rout Behind Five Home Runs

FLORENCE, S.C. — Five home runs for the Stingers as Florence-Darlington Technical College defeated USC Union 18-2 at Dailey Field.

The Stingers totaled 16 hits on the day, highlighted by a standout performance from Jake Little, who launched two home runs and drove in a team-high five RBIs. Tristan Strickland also made a significant impact at the plate, recording two doubles and a home run while scoring three runs. Gabe Herold added to the offensive surge with three hits, including a home run, and two RBIs. Diego Garcia contributed two hits and drove in three runs, while Pat Costin rounded out the home run tally with a two-run shot.

On the mound, Jackson Mullen earned the win, throwing four scoreless innings while allowing just two hits and striking out two. Dylan Shaffer worked one inning in relief, surrendering two runs on two hits and recording two strikeouts.Florence-Darlington Technical College was sharp defensively, committing no errors, while USC Union finished with four hits and one error.
