Florence-Darlington Technical College earned a hard-fought 13–11 win in an extra-inning battle, powered by a strong offensive performance and timely hitting. Jake Little led the way, recording three hits, including the go-ahead two-run home run in the 11th inning, while finishing with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Kevin Bruno also contributed significantly at the plate with three hits and two RBIs, as the Stingers totaled 17 hits in the contest. Jace Rainey added three RBIs and two stolen bases, helping generate additional scoring opportunities.
Despite committing four errors, Florence-Darlington's pitching staff delivered in key moments late in the game. Elvin Pascual earned the win with a dominant relief outing, pitching two scoreless innings while striking out five batters. Tanner Hall also provided valuable relief, tossing 1 2/3 scoreless innings with two strikeouts.
The Stingers' ability to respond in clutch situations and capitalize on offensive opportunities ultimately secured the extra-inning victory.
