Background:
"I'm from Florence, South Carolina, and I've been playing baseball since I was five years old. I played four years of varsity baseball at West Florence High School, and that experience helped shape me into the player I am today."
Future Aspirations:
"To move on to a four-year school, continue playing baseball, and earn my degree."
What led you to Florence-Darlington Technical College:
"My path here wasn't exactly what I expected. I was originally committed to the University of South Carolina, but I lost my scholarship during my senior year. After that, Florence-Darlington Technical College reached out and gave me the opportunity to play at one of the top JUCO programs. I'm grateful for that second chance."
Experience so far at FDTC:
"My experience here has had its ups and downs. My freshman year didn't go the way I hoped—I didn't pitch as much as I wanted, and I dealt with some injuries. However, my sophomore year has been much better. I've stayed healthy and earned the opportunity to be a starter, which has meant a lot to me."
Biggest challenges and resources that helped you succeed:
"One of my biggest challenges has been balancing school and baseball. Some days are really long at the field, and it can be tough not to fall behind on schoolwork. It's something I'm still working to improve."
"There have been times when I felt like giving up. During those moments, I remind myself to trust God's plan and His timing. That mindset has helped me stay focused and keep pushing forward."
