JONESVILLE, S.C. — Jake Little's power at the plate fueled Florence-Darlington Technical College to an 11–6 victory over USC Union.
Florence-Darlington Technical College broke the game open with a nine-run sixth inning, turning a tight contest into a decisive win. Little led the offensive surge, belting a home run, adding two doubles, and driving in five runs. Jake Zehner contributed with a double and scored twice, while Jackson Cook added speed on the bases with two stolen bases and an RBI. The Stingers also took advantage of two USC Union errors to sustain pressure throughout the game.
On the mound, Elijah Sanders made the start, allowing two earned runs on four hits over 3 1/3 innings. Bryson Harper earned the win in relief, tossing 2 2/3 innings and surrendering three runs on three hits. Nick Cappello closed the door with a scoreless inning to secure the victory. As a staff, Florence-Darlington limited USC Union to eight hits and worked through four home runs allowed to maintain control in key moments.
