Keira Bell powers Lady Stingers to first win of the season

SWAINBORO, Ga. — Keira Bell's standout all-around performance powered Florence-Darlington Technical College to a 9–4 win over East Georgia State College.
Bell delivered at the plate and in the circle, blasting two home runs and driving in four runs while going a perfect 3-for-3 and scoring three times. She also earned the win as the pitcher, working five innings and allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits while striking out three.
FDTC's offense stayed balanced throughout the game, finishing with nine runs on 12 hits. Makayla Huggins added a key double that drove in three runs, Hayleigh Atkinson chipped in two RBIs, and Payton Melinauskas crossed the plate three times. Kai Pace fueled the running game with three stolen bases, part of six total steals by the Stingers.
Defensively, FDTC played clean baseball, committing just one error, while East Georgia State committed two. The Stingers capitalized on those mistakes and maintained control of the game from start to finish, setting the tone for continued momentum in upcoming matchups.
