Lady Stingers Sweep First Regional Double Header

UNION, S.C. — Kai Pace was a single short of a cycle to led Florence-Darlington Technical College to a 7–3 victory over USC Union.

Pace led the offensive charge, finishing with three hits—a home run, triple, and double—while driving in three runs and finishing just a single shy of the cycle. The Stingers' lineup remained productive throughout the game, totaling 13 hits and consistently capitalizing on scoring opportunities.

Additional contributions came from Payton Melinauskas, who delivered an RBI double, while Mandy Wells and Kiera Bell each added an RBI. Florence-Darlington also displayed disciplined play defensively, committing just one error.

In the circle, Bell delivered a complete-game performance, allowing three runs on seven hits over seven innings. She recorded five strikeouts and issued two walks, maintaining control and limiting USC Union's opportunities. The Stingers' defense backed her effort by holding USC Union scoreless over the final four innings to secure the win.
