Florence-Darlington Technical College suffered a narrow 5–4 defeat to Gaston College in a closely contested game. The Stingers recorded five hits, highlighted by home runs from Payton Melinauskas and Mandy Wells. Melinauskas drove in one run and scored once, while Wells also contributed an RBI and a run, providing key offensive production during the middle innings.
