UNION, S.C. — Skylar Dymond scored three runs on four hits to help Florence-Darlington Technical College secure a 9–5 victory over USC Union.
Florence-Darlington Technical College earned a 9–5 win over USC Union behind a dominant offensive performance. Skylar Dymond led the effort, going 4-for-5 with three runs scored and an RBI, consistently setting the tone at the top of the lineup. Hayleigh Atkinson also delivered a standout performance, finishing 3-for-4 with three runs scored, a home run, and a double. Mandy Wells added to the offensive surge with three hits and two RBIs, as the Stingers combined for an impressive 19 hits in the contest.
In the circle, Olivia Goforth earned the win, pitching five innings while allowing two runs on six hits and striking out five batters. Ashlyn Ivey started the game, giving up three runs over two innings of work. The Stingers also played clean defense, committing no errors, while USC Union recorded two.
