SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Five Lady Stingers recorded multiple hits as Florence-Darlington Technical College earned a 6–1 victory over USC Union on Friday.
Florence-Darlington Technical College delivered a strong all-around performance, combining an explosive offensive effort with effective pitching and solid defense. Keira Bell played a key role on both sides, collecting two hits—including a triple—and scoring twice. In the circle, she tossed a complete game, allowing just one run on five hits over seven innings.
Olivia Goforth led the offense with a perfect 4-for-4 performance at the plate, driving in a run. Mandy Wells added three hits, two RBIs, and a stolen base, while Hayleigh Atkinson contributed three hits, including a double. As a team, the Lady Stingers totaled 16 hits and played error-free defense to maintain control throughout the contest.
