Stingers complete series win against Lancers

The Stingers overpowered the USC Lancers 15-5 on Sunday, marking a strong finish to game three of the weekend series. This was a bounce back win after their 5-game win streak was snapped on Saturday.

Their offense was led by Zack Hunt, who had five RBIs and three hits in five at-bats. Jake Zehner also had a strong performance, scoring four runs and hitting two doubles. They broke the game open with four runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Lancers. The Stingers offense produced 50 runs in the three-game series.

On the pitching side, Mike Joyce earned the win, delivering 4 1/3 innings of shutout relief, striking out five and allowing only two hits.
